About Us

Mission
The mission of the Bryan ISD Education Foundation is to assist the Bryan Independent School District in achieving excellence.

Formed in 1999, The Bryan ISD Education Foundation was founded to foster continuous improvement of the Bryan ISD by providing financial support and other resources for district-wide programs aimed at improving student academic achievement. There is a strong correlation between the sense of community, the quality of life in Bryan and the quality of education in Bryan schools. This philosophy is important to the children in our educational system, but equally as important for the future economic growth of this community.

Governed by a Board of Directors who represent a cross-section of the community and who are committed to making a difference for more than 16,000 students and 2,500 staff members in Bryan ISD, the Board's primary purpose is to work together with the district to ensure student success, giving every child every opportunity.

The Foundation provides funding for educational projects and activities which are not within the budget of the District and, in some cases, for which tax dollars cannot be expended.

The Foundation provides an avenue for business and community members as well as school district personnel and alumni to enhance the education process. People from all sectors of the community are invited to become involved in the support and improvement of the quality of education. This support includes raising funds, publicizing activities, organizing and coordinating Foundation events among other activities.
